· Be an Educator at Bionerds biology workshops for kids from K-8th grades.

· Teach biology curriculum and assist the kids with hands-on activities. Setting and cleaning up classroom before and after classes.

· A bachelor’s degree in Biology or other related science/experience is a must. Teaching experience is preferred, but not required.

Other Info and Desired Personality/Skills:

· Able to work IN-PERSON the morning and/or afternoon for about 2-6 hours/day between 9am-6pm, up to 5 days per week, during regular seasons. Able to work IN-PERSON 4-8 hours per day for up to 5 days during summer season. Need to work occasionally on weekends for event hosting or marketing event for 2-5 hours.

· We need people who love working with kids, reliable, organized, flexible, eager to learn, team player, and have good communication skills.

· Requires travel to different cities in Orange County. Must have a reliable transportation.

· Need to pass a background/fingerprint check, drug, and TB tests.

· Paid hourly, approximately up to 30 hours a week, depending on your availability and registration numbers.

· Able to earn working hours from home when assisting in different departments we have (Administration, Marketing, and Curriculum Team).

Compensation: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour

Bionerds was born in September 2015 in Orange County, California. It was founded with a mission to nurture curiosity, share lifetime passion and give opportunities for the younger generation to learn about biology through self-discovery. We believe each individual is a bionerd. Living things are too amazing not to be wondered about. When the right environment is provided at a young age, a child will learn and appreciate how amazing living things are, no matter how small or not-so-good-looking they are.
